About the RHI

The Roger-Hansen-Institute is a newly founded student think-tank which aims to spark the global interchange of perspectives on (geo-)political issues. Students and young scholars from around the world discuss their unique views, shaped by the history and culture of the societies they stem from. What determines the average Singaporean's opinion on the war in Ukraine? How do Rwandan scholars feel about the much discussed migration deal with the United Kingdom? We aspire to raise awareness for the implications of these perspectives for policy-makers, businesses, and the general public. Academic papers and opinion pieces are planned to be the primary output of the institute. Monthly team-discussions of recent political events, as well as (online-)conferences and events encourage a more active interchange of perspectives.

We are always looking for fresh perspectives, so fill out our contact form or send us an email and we will get back to you regarding a potential involvement!

About Roger D. Hansen

Roger D. Hansen was a scholar at the John Hopkins University´s School of Advanced International Studies where he regularly published groundbreaking articles on the development of economies and the advancement of fruitful intercontinental relations. In honourable rememberance of a life spent overcoming barriers in and beyond academia we have named our institute after this coryphery of the field.
